A chance I deserve

Started to take things light,
Since last night.
Do u think I deserve this pain,
this bane?
A chance I deserve,
as love is what I preserve.
But I'm at the end of the road,
a flight I'm gonna board,
which will take me abroad,
far far away from you.

  18. Really lovely piece. Unfortunately I had to keep reloading the page and reading it in snippets as my laptop decided to hide the poem itself

  21. And as I board my flight,
at the end of my road,
Stands a sun, still bright as day,
    perhaps,I'll meld into it,
For in death i could be finally bright,
With joy,and sad not in slight.

These are some lines i thought up after reading your poem.
    Too good!
