Painful..

It's a rainy day, The weather is not so wonderful, Let's light the fire, so that it can be delightful. There is no sign of stopping, Looks as if the sky is weeping. Might be as we have hurt mother nature & it's,very painful. Maybe she is mourning, of loss of her planting. We have dug her heart, So deep just for mining. Its a rainy day, The weather is not so wonderful, Let's light the fire, so that it can be delightful.

  9. Interesting, hopefully fire a metaphor for physical fire and not burning bush then mother nature would really never stop weeping. Enjoy the rally!

  20. We have dug her heart,
    So deep just for mining.

Dig deeper is what applies in such cases. Nice write! (:

  21. I like the contrast of the first and fourth stanza with the 2nd and 3rd verse. It's like on one hand, we know we should be conserving nature but on the other hand, we are still destroying our environment for our own needs...
The irony just hit me in the face when I read the last bit..
    Keep up the work! :)

  23. A somber mood you create with this. It is so very well considered, to think of the rain as a possible sign of nature hurting. And some of the things we do to sustain ourselves, even on the very level of planting, do disturb the natural balance in some way.

Oh, if only simple, respectful planting were the limit of the hurts we inflict upon nature, we would not be so guilty. . .

    Nice work.
